The use of photocopies of copyrighted materials in teaching and learning has always been a thorny issue. What can be copied? How much can be copied? Can materials be digitised and uploaded to a school intranet? These questions are discussed in depth in this course.
Other topics include licensing schemes for schools; the "classroom guidelines for making photocopies"; and the proposed amendments (March 2006) to the current copyright ordinance, and their implications for teachers and students.
